Sika® Aktivator-205 is a colorless, solvent-based activator that reacts with atmospheric moisture to form an active layer on the surface of the substrate. The active groups formed act as a bonding layer between the substrate and primers, sealants or adhesives.
Sika® Aktivator-205 is intended for the pre-treatment of non-porous bonded surfaces before the application of Sikaflex® and Sikasil® products. It is suitable for use on various materials, such as metals, plastics, ceramic screen prints and painted surfaces.
The product is intended for professional use only. Adhesion tests on specific substrates and under actual conditions of use must be carried out before application.
