Molykote CU-7439 Plus, 100g
- Application: Very suitable wherever protection against water, steam and corrosion is required, for example in brake systems, flange seals or fan joints.
- Properties: Wide operating temperature range, high pressure resistance, excellent adhesion and resistance to water washout. Good corrosion protection, low evaporation and no dropping point.
- Composition: Partially synthetic oil, copper powder and anti-corrosion additives.
- Temperature range of use: From −30 °C to +300 °C in paste form, up to +650 °C in dry lubrication.
- Colour: Copper.
- Penetration at rest [mm/10]: 320–370.
- Density at 20 °C [g/ml]: 1.
- Viscosity at 40 °C [mm²/s]: 1100.
- Welding under load [N]: 2500 (four-ball test).
- Wear value at a load of 800 N/mm: 1 (four-ball test).
- Pressfit test: 0.07.
- Friction coefficient for screw connections: µ thread 0.17; µ head 0.10.
- Water resistance at 90 °C: 1.
